FoxFit Personal Training Terms

Introduction

  • The Trainer is a fully qualified Personal Trainer (NASM Level 3). The Trainer will use her skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise that will take into account your lifestyle, personal goals, fitness levels and medical history. The Trainer will provide the coaching, supervision, advice and support that you will need to achieve your goals. Each personal training session will last 60 minutes (a “session”). You understand that the results of any fitness programme cannot be guaranteed. Your progress depends on your effort and co-operation in and outside of the sessions. In particular, you acknowledge that individual results may vary and no particular result is guaranteed by your Trainer. All Client information is strictly confidential and will only be seen by the Trainer.

PAR-Q

  • A PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) must be completed before any PT sessions begin. Clients must complete the form honestly. If a doctor is required to sign off the form this must be done before any sessions begin.

  • The Trainer cannot be held liable in any way for any undisclosed information or any unknown medical conditions.

  • The completed PAR-Q is valid for up to twelve months. The client declaration should also state that if their circumstances change that they inform the trainer. After twelve months clients will revisit their form and make any alterations and date and sign it, or complete a new form.

Late Arrivals

  • If your Personal Trainer is more than 10 minutes late for your session, you will receive one free hour of Personal Training, arranged at a mutually convenient time for you and your Personal Trainer.

  • If you’re late for your session, your session length will be reduced accordingly, and you will be charged at the normal session rate.

  • If you’re more than 30 minutes late, the session may be cancelled, and you will be charged for the full session at the normal session rate.

Trainers

  • Should you experience any pain, discomfort, or injury during any of your sessions, please inform your Personal Trainer immediately who will ensure appropriate action is taken.

  • Prior to, or during, the course of your Personal Training, health concerns may arise that may require further input from your doctor, physiotherapist, or other allied health care professional. If such concerns arise, you should consult an appropriate health professional before continuing your Personal Training sessions.

  • Please be aware that your Personal Trainers are not health care professionals and cannot diagnose and/or prescribe treatment for any form of injury, disease, or other medical problem.

Payment

  • Payment must be made in advance of any Personal Training sessions taking place.

  • All Personal Training blocks need to be fully used within 90 days of purchase – unless otherwise agreed - after which any remaining sessions will be forfeited.

Postponements

  • If you need to postpone a session that you have booked, you must give us 24 hours notice. Failure to do so will result in you being charged the full session rate.

  • If, for any reason, we need to postpone your appointment within 24 hours, your next session will be provided free of charge.

Refunds

  • All Personal Training session purchases are final. If you are unable to continue your Personal Training sessions due to medical reasons, a refund may be available for any remaining sessions. You will need to provide us with evidence (i.e. a letter from your doctor) explaining that you are unable to continue for medical reasons including a time frame of this restriction prior to a refund being considered. Refunds cannot be provided under any other circumstances.

  • Your Trainer has completed and holds a current certificate for Emergency First Aid at work approved by the Health and Safety Executive.

  • Your Trainer holds comprehensive public liability insurance cover.
