ABOUT ME

Strength in Body & Mind

Hi, my name is Mel. I am an qualified NASM instructor which means I can teach fitness classes and 1:1 sessions. I love sport & exercise and they have been a huge part of my life . I am a strong believer that personal wellbeing is a combination of exercising, eating well and good mental health. This is true in the current situation more than ever and I can assist with all those aspects of your wellbeing. My classes have a strong social and team aspect where people can encourage and support each other to achieve their goals. 
All classes are tailored to the individual’s needs and targets. I can train everyone from complete beginners to those wishing to push their fitness to the next level. I can use my personal experiences to train people if they have specific targets like completing races and triathlons. This includes setting up training and nutritional plans for before, during and after the event.
I am also a mum of two so I know how hard it can be to balance life, work and exercise. I am also a qualified swimming teacher, master scuba diving instructor and previously an offshore survival Instructor.
 I have needed to be physically fit for all my jobs and have extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. In my spare time I'm a keen cyclist, runner and open water swimmer.
